90-MINUTE QUILTS
|
|
The quick and easy techniques in this popular
class can be used to create larger lap quilts, wallhangings
or even a full-sized bed quilt. To learn all the techniques
during class time, the baby quilt version is taught. It's
a great baby shower gift, community service quilt, or raffle
item for church bazaars.
The class includes a focus on color and
design, because the best way to make any quilt look absolutely
fabulous is by using appealing color choices and arrangement.
Your instructor has taught color and design since 1974,
and will offer valuable tips on the secrets of fabric selection
and positioning.
Once you learn these clever, timesaving
techniques, you can create a 30" x 41" baby quilt
in 90 minutes! (This includes piecing, quilting, binding
and a rod pocket.)
Class includes a trunk show, demos by the
teacher, personalized help for each student, valuable information
on color and design, and variations on these methods.
Optional kit includes fabrics and notions.
Meryl Ann's book, 90-Minute Quilts
is recommended but not required.

| SECRETS OF COLOR THEORY
FOR QUILTERS AND FIBER ARTISTS! |
|
2-day workshop

into a finished project! Learn about values, chroma, color

it or not, this is MUCH easier than you think!
Students "build" their own color
reference book to take home, mixing paint and matching fabrics
in order to train the eye.
Meryl Ann studied art for seven years in
NY with Harold Stevenson, a student of Norman Rockwell,
and ran her own art school for a decade before being bitten
by the quilt bug.
